About Me

I was born the 8th child in a French Canadian family of 10, in rural New-Brunswick.  I came to Ottawa to complete my studies, and I finished with a Masters in Counselling.

I worked for the Children’s Aid Society for fourteen years, where I gained much expertise working with families who were experiencing difficulties with their children.  It helped me develop great relationship development and counselling skills.  It also increased my awareness and professionalism on the issues involving dynamics of abuse, neglect, violence, mental health issues, as well as  become familiar with child development and parenting issues.

I was fortunate to to be able to spend the next 27 years with a Family Support Program called Better Beginnings Better Futures, in Ottawa.  This also was a rich experience in working with families with young children.  My role as Family Visiting Coordinator was to hire, train, and supervise staff, while at the same time have direct contact with the people we serviced.  When families required extra help with more intense difficulties, we would work as a team to problem solve. The clients in our community originated from all over the world, so I became familiar with multicultural and refugees issues, as well as PTSD.  Since our program focused on helping children grow and develop to their full potential, I developed expertise in child development, stimulation, special needs and parenting.

To be able to create openness and trust so that people feel comfortable to open up is very important to me.  Confidentiality and respect are key values in the way I work.  I am grateful for the confidence that my clients have shown me through the years. My non judgmental approach has contributed to clients feeling that they can share their private struggles with me.  The context in which I worked also was part of my introduction to the world of energy.  Some clients needed help with such issues as black magic, bewitchment, and entities, as examples.  At first, I would refer them to an energy practitioner who was able to understand and help people with such difficulties, using the Lecher Antenna.  

Seeing a need for this kind of help, I decided to take the “Harmonic Synergy” course over a two year span.  I completed the 270 hours of theory and 770 hours of practice in June 2014.  Since then, I have been practising and learning about  human energy with all its complex and numerous facets, the energies from the earth and our environment,  and how they impact on us. I find it exciting to continuously learn as I apply new knowledge to my practice.
